DIY: Life-size Halloween Pinterest Board

DIY: Life-size Halloween Pinterest Board

Follow these steps if you want to turn your wall into the Halloween Pinterest board of your dreams. Just because Halloween only lasts one day, doesn't mean you can't enjoy this year-round.

Needed:

- Scissors

- Tape

- Preferably a paper trimmer/cutter

- Access to a printer

1. COMPOSE AND PRINT

To start, you'll want to save a bunch of high resolution images to a folder on your computer. Typically we Google search images of our favorite things related to the board we are creating, or we compose a Pinterest board of images and print them from our computer on regular white printer paper.

The dimensions of your photos are up to you. For this particular project we have an array of sizes and simply started in the center and worked our way out.

If you decide to make all of your images the same size, we suggest measuring out the wall you want to tape them to, and hang accordingly.

2. CUT

Once you've printed out the photos, cut each photo to the dimensions you want with the paper trimmer/cutter (for nice clean cuts) or scissors. For this project we left a white border around each photo but we've also made boards without borders as well.

3. LAY OUT

We recommend spreading out your photos on a flat surface and planning the lay out before taping them to your wall.

4. TAPE TO WALL

If you're satisfied with the lay out and feel like you have enough photos printed to fill the desired space then start putting them on the wall. Two pieces of tape (one on the top, and one on the bottom) should be enough.
